Master of Engineering (Civil & Structural) M.E (CS)

Civil and Structural engineers create and maintain much of the physical infrastructure of society while managing and conserving our natural resources. The goal is to do this in a sustainable manner. This program provides the opportunity to study technical courses at an advanced level and the opportunity to engage in a research project. The emphasis is on engineering problem solving and design and analysis using modern, computer-based methods. read more

Master of Engineering (Civil and Environmental) M.E (CE)

Environmental engineers may be involved in environmental impact assessment, water resources management, pollution control, waste management or the planning and design of engineering facilities to minimise their impact on the environment. The program has an emphasis on technical analysis and evaluation of mining systems, including mine design and planning, rock mechanics, modelling and simulation, risk and uncertainty, mining geostatistics, mine management and sustainable mining practices. Master of Geostatistics M. Geostat

Delivered through intensive courses, this program can be completed in a year and a half and is designed specifically for people in full time employment. The program provides theoretical background and intensive practical training in Geostatistics with particular emphasis on its applications to mineral resource evaluation, geological modelling, geotechnical modelling, hydrocarbon reservoir characterisation and the modelling and prediction of environmental variables. read more
