Efficient stiffener element modelling for stiffened plates and shells and their static, dynamic and buckling response in linear and nonlinear range.
Development of new finite elements for efficient modelling of composite and sandwich panels based on different plate theories including higher order refined theories.

Dynamic/parametric instability of stiffened and sandwich panels subjected to different types of edge loading.
Response and control of elastomer embedded adaptive structures based on a 3D nonlinear finite element model.
Numerical simulation of high velocity ballistic impact response of composite and sandwich panels
A fully coupled condensed beam element for thin walled open and closed section laminated composite beams.
