Help With Your Stay

Computing

Visitors are granted access to a computer depending on their length of stay. If their stay is for a reasonable period, they are given accounts for email and access to our servers, both Netware and Unix. The School at present has a Netware 5 server, two dual Linux servers and several dedicated servers for email and web proxy. On the servers, there is a range of software specific to Civil and Environmental Engineering and a range of compilers for those undertaking computer simulation studies.

Accommodation

There is a range of short- and long-term accommodation available in Adelaide. The School is happy to assist official visitors with finding appropriate accommodation.

For those interested in staying in a residential college, Kathleen Lumley College provides cost-effective accommodation for both postgraduate students and short-term visitors.
