Before Uni Starts

Get Prepared!

  • Collect your student ID card.
  • Go to O'Week, attend any preliminary lectures and take advantage of other opportunities to help you transition into university.
  • Use Unibooks to see which textbooks are required for your course. There are also various resources for purchasing second hand textbooks.
  • Make yourself familiar with the critical dates. The last day to add courses is also the last day that you can change tutorial and class times, and the census date is the last day that you can erase a course from your record.
  • ...and enjoy the ride! Uni life is exciting, challenging and everything in between. Check out our First Year Students page for all you need to know about starting uni.
