The Rutter Jewell-Thomas Medal and Prize
- A medal, and a prize to the value of $250, to be known as "The Rutter
Jewell-Thomas Medal and Prize", shall be offered for competition annually.
- The medal and prize shall be awarded to the student completing Level IV of
the undergraduate program in Chemical Engineering whose academic record, over
the whole program, is judged best.
- The prize shall not be awarded if, in the opinion of the Head of the School,
there is no candidate of sufficient merit; but, if no award is made in any year,
two awards may be made in a later year in which there are two candidates of sufficient
merit.
