The Readymix Prize in Design of Concrete Structures N
Whereas Readymix Holdings Pty. Ltd. has agreed to provide an annual prize in
the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the following rules are hereby
made:
- The Prize shall be called "The Readymix Prize in Design of Concrete Structures
N" and shall be available for award each year.
- The Prize shall be of the value of $500 per annum, and Merchandise (eg watch),
or such amount as the School, in association with Readymix, shall from time to
time determine.
- The Prize shall be awarded annually by the Faculty, on the recommendation
of the Head of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, to the student
who obtains the best result in the Level IV course Design of Concrete Structures
N for the degrees of BE(Civil) or BE(Civil & Structural)
- No award shall be made if, in the opinion of the School, there is no candidate
of sufficient merit.
- If, in any year, two or more candidates qualify equally, the Prize will be
awarded to the student who obtains the best result in the final examination component
in the Level IV course Design of Concrete Structures N.
- The rules of the Prize may be varied from time to time by agreement between
the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Readymix Holdings Pty.
