The United Water Prize
Whereas United Water has agreed to provide an annual prize in the School of
Civil and Environmental Engineering, the following rules are hereby made:
- The prize shall be called "The United Water Prize" and shall be
available for award each year.
- The prize shall be of the value of $600 per annum, or such amount as shall
be determined in association with United Water
- The prize shall be awarded annually on the recommendation of the Head of the
School of Civil and Environmental Engineering to the student who obtains the best
result in the assessment of the Level III course C&ENVENG 3009 Environmental
Engineering and Design III in the Civil and Environmental Engineering program
for the degree of Bachelor of Engineering.
- No award shall be made if there is no candidate of sufficient merit.
- If, in any year, two or more candidates qualify equally for the prize, the
value of the prize shall be divided equally amongst such candidates
- The rules of the prize may be varied from time to time by agreement between
United Water and the Faculty of Engineering, Computer & Mathematical Sciences.
