The Bank SA Prize for Computer Science
Whereas the Bank SA has agreed to provide an annual prize in Computer Science,
the following rules are hereby made:
- The prize shall be known as "The Bank SA Prize for Computer Science".
- The prize shall be of the value of $500 or such other amount as shall from
time to time be determined, on the recommendation of the Faculty of Engineering,
Computer and Mathematical Sciences.
- The prize shall be awarded annually by the Faculty on the recommendation of
the Head of the School of Computer Science, to the student obtaining the highest
aggregate score of marks for level II Computer Science courses totalling at least
twelve units.
- No award shall be made if in the opinion of the Faculty, there is no candidate
of sufficient merit.
- If in any year, two or more candidates obtain equal highest marks in at least
twelve units of level II Computer Science, the prize shall be divided equally
amongst such candidates.
- These rules may be varied from time to time but the title and general purpose
of the prize shall not be changed.
