Derek Rogers Prize in Commercialisation

Whereas Dr. Derek Rogers, University Alumni, has paid to the University the sum of $2,000 for the purpose of funding an annual prize in the program of Master of Science and Technology Commercialisation, the following rules are hereby made:

1. The Prize shall be known as "The Derek Rogers Prize in Commercialisation".
2. The annual value of the prize shall be $400.
3. The Prize shall be awarded by the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, on the recommendation of the Education Centre for Innovation and Commercialisation, to the student graduating from the Master of Science and Technology Commercialisation in a calendar year with the highest aggregate score.
4. Where two or more candidates are of equal merit, the prize shall be shared equally.
5. The Prize shall be available each year for a minimum of five years with the first award being in 2004.
6. The terms of the prize may be varied by the Faculty from time to time with the agreement of Dr. Derek Rogers, but the general purpose of the prize shall not be changed.
