The Nova Aerospace Prize for Aerospace Engineering
Whereas Nova Aerospace has agreed to provide an annual prize
and medal in the School of Mechanical Engineering and have contributed the sum
of $2,500 for this purpose, the following rules are hereby made:
- The Prize shall be called the "Nova Aerospace Prize" and shall be
available for award each year to a student in the B.E.(Aerospace) program.
- The Prize shall consist of a medal/trophy supplied by Nova Aerospace and inscribed
with the name of the winner of the Prize, and a monetary Prize to the value of
$500 per annum, or such other amount as shall be determined in association with
Nova Aerospace.
- The Prize shall be awarded annually on the recommendation of the Head of School
of Mechanical Engineering to the student who has completed Level IV of the undergraduate
program in Aerospace Engineering with the highest honours classification.
- When two or more candidates are of equal merit, the prize shall be shared
equally.
- No award shall be made if there is no candidate of sufficient merit.
- The rules of the prize may be varied from time to time by agreement between
Nova Aerospace and the Faculty of Engineering, Computer & Mathematical Sciences.
