Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences Undergraduate Course Changes from 2008
The University of Adelaide is introducing a uniform system of 3 unit values for undergraduate courses. This means that by 2011, every course will have a value of 3, 6, 9 or 12 units. This system will be rolled out as follows:
- revised Level 1 courses in 2008
- revised Level 2 courses in 2009
- revised Level 3 courses in 2010
- revised Level 4 courses in 2011
Students likely to be affected include those:
- studying a double or combined program
- studying part time
- who commenced study mid-year
- who have deferred any part of their program
- who have failed a course and are required to repeat
- who have received level 1 or 2 transfer credit from studies undertaken at another institution
If you enrolled in a single degree in 2007 or earlier, have studied full-time and have not failed any courses, you are unlikely to be affected unless you are required to study a course that has changed unit values, e.g. a Level 3 course in 2010 or a Level 4 course in 2011.
New students enrolling from 2008 onwards will not be affected by these changes.
